A Virginia House bill is headed to the Senate that would create and require a $19 permit from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources for hunters who use dogs.
Del. Marty Martinez, D-Loudoun, introduced House Bill 1396, which would require individuals or organizations to obtain a permit to hunt game
The Greater Richmond Transportation Company board voted recently to approve proposed bus scheduling changes that impacts five Henrico County routes starting on Sunday, Feb. 22.
The Henrico County GRTC routes slated for cutbacks include:
• Routes 7A and 7B (Nine Mile/Airport);
• Route 19 (West Broad Street);
• Route 76 (Patterson);
• and
Two pieces of legislation introduced by Del. Rip Sullivan, D-Fairfax, to update the state’s sales tax were heard in the House and met with different outcomes.
House Bill 897 and House Bill 900, both patroned by Sullivan, looked to adjust Virginia’s sales and use taxes.
