A Chesterfield County man is facing four felony charges after Henrico Police say he abused cats and used social media to fraudulently raise money for veterinary bills.
Rodney Travis Jr., 27, was arrested on charges including animal cruelty, obtaining money by false pretense and using a computer to commit fraud.

An 18-year-old man was killed and another man was critically injured after a shooting at an apartment complex in Henrico on Sunday evening, a news release from police says.

Henrico Police officials are seeking information from the public about a double-shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead Feb. 15.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Maple Run Lane and Oak Run Lanein the Maple Springs apartment complex (across from Hermitage High School), at about 7:30 p.m.
