Henrico Master Gardeners to host 'Saturday in the Garden' June 28

To kick off summer, Henrico Master Gardeners will hold an event Saturday, June 28 to celebrate flowering plants and the vital role they play in providing food for honeybees, butterflies and other pollinators.
The Saturday in the Garden event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the Pollinator Garden at Short Pump Park, 3329 Pump Road.
Master Gardeners will share information about pollinators and help youth make fruit shish kebabs. Games and crafts for children also will be available. The Pollinator Garden is located near the dog park and behind the pump house for the spray park.
