Henrico Holiday Express Tour postponed Dec. 9

The Dec. 9 routes of the Henrico Holiday Express Tour, a small parade featuring a Henrico Recreation and Parks float, a decorated fire truck, dump truck, library van and Santa Claus, have been postponed by the winter storm.
The tour was to pass through the Three Chopt and Tuckahoe Districts Tuesday night but the weather will prevent that from happening, according to county officials, who said that the event will be rescheduled.
The tour still is scheduled to visit the Varina District between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 10 (see the parade route here) and the Brookland and Fairfield districts between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 11 (see the parade routes here).
On both days, activities also will take place before and after the parades; details are available on each schedule page.
