HENRICO COUNTY TAXPAYERS PERSONAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE TAX BILLS DUE AND PAYABLE JUNE 5, 2026
Personal Property and Real Estate Tax bills for the first installment of 2026 have been mailed. Payments must be received on or before Friday, June 5, 2026 to avoid a late payment penalty of 10%.
For your convenience a variety of payment options are available. There are no fees for e-check, credit, or debit card payments:
ONLINE: Access https://henrico.gov/finance/payments/ and choose Online Payments. Bills are available for viewing and payment using your account number and billing zip code. You may also enroll in paperless billing at this website.
PHONE: 1-855-748-6015 using your account number and billing zip code.
US MAIL: Mail your Check or Money Order along with the coupon from the bill, using the envelope provided.Payments sent by mail must be postmarked on or before June 5, 2026.
BILL PAY SERVICES: Consult your bank’s bill pay service for their processing times to allow sufficient time for payments to reach the County on or before June 5, 2026. To ensure accurate payment posting you must use the payee name, address, and account number listed on your bill.
PAY-NEAR-ME: To pay with cash at any 7-ELEVEN, CVS Pharmacy or Family Dollar store obtain a Pay Code at https://www.paynearme.com/hctax.
IN PERSON or DROP BOX: In person, full service is available at both government centers Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays. Check payments may be deposited in the secure 24-HOUR drop boxes located at each Government Center.
