Henrico has welcomed a new international business to its growing corporate landscape.
MPP Insights, a global leader in advanced data analytics and business intelligence based in Armenia, has established its United States headquarters in Henrico.
Founded in 2005, MPP Insights specializes in advanced data engineering, business intelligence, and AI-powered analytics. Its clients span industries including finance, healthcare, logistics, and e-commerce.
As part of its U.S. launch, MPP Insights has joined the Henrico Economic Development Authority’s Global Business Gateway, a "soft-landing" program based in Innsbrook for international companies.
Through the Gateway’s RAMP (Research to Accelerate Market Potential) initiative, the company is receiving tailored go-to-market support, strategic advising, and business development assistance to help accelerate its growth in the U.S. The Greater Richmond Partnership also played a key role in bringing MPP Insights to Henrico.
Local leaders praised the decision.
“We’re thrilled MPP Insights has chosen Henrico for its global headquarters,” said Dan Schmitt, chair of the Henrico Board of Supervisors and Brookland District representative. “We’re proud to support their entrance into the U.S. market through our Global Business Gateway, and we look forward to backing their growth within our thriving international business community of more than 70 firms.”
Three Chopt District Supervisor Misty D. Roundtree added, “We welcome MPP Insights to Henrico as a visionary company that will not only drive growth in our local economy but also enrich the fabric of our community. Their focus on innovation strengthens our future.”
MPP Insights leaders said Henrico stood out as a forward-thinking location to expand their vision.
“We’ve built MPP Insights over the last 20 years on the belief that data should be a strategic advantage, not a burden,” said founder and CEO Sergei Shestakov. “The Richmond region, particularly Henrico, stood out to us as a welcoming home for innovation.”
U.S. Managing Director Peter Bilzerian noted that the company is “building a bridge between two rising tech ecosystems: one rooted in hospitality and grit; the other in technical talent. By hiring locally and investing in both communities, we’re showing what global collaboration really looks like.”
Jennifer Wakefield, president and CEO of the Greater Richmond Partnership, said the move reinforces the region’s position as a natural fit for international firms: “We’re proud to support their transition through partnerships, site visits, and introductions that make for a seamless soft-landing experience.”
The Global Business Gateway is based at Gather West End's Innsbrook location and can support as many as nine international companies at a time as part of Henrico’s broader “Henrico Tomorrow” initiative to attract investment and elevate office development.
