Franco’s Fine Clothier will unveil the region’s first Johnnie-O Signature Shop inside its Short Pump Town Center store on Saturday, Oct. 25, marking a new chapter in the store’s partnership with the popular Southern California-inspired menswear brand.

The grand opening celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and feature shopping perks, giveaways, and the full Johnnie-O collection. Customers also can enjoy a weeklong “Johnnie-O Week” event from Oct. 25–31 with specials at both the Short Pump and Lakeside Franco’s locations.

“While we’ve offered Johnnie-O at both Franco’s stores for the past several years, we’re excited to introduce the first Johnnie-O Signature Shop to Richmond,” said Mark Ambrogi, co-owner of Franco’s. “Our customers value brands that combine quality, comfort, and individuality — and Johnnie-O delivers all three. We can now showcase the full scope of the brand in a setting that reflects both its personality and the quality Franco’s is known for.”

Founded in 2005 by Chicago native John O’Donnell — the older brother of actor Chris O’Donnell — Johnnie-O fuses East Coast prep with the casual feel of Southern California. Its collections are known for polished, relaxed styles, blending performance fabrics with tailoring for versatile looks that move from office to outdoors.

The brand’s chief merchandising officer, Chris Knott, who also founded the menswear label Peter Millar, has a longtime connection with Franco’s founder Franco Ambrogi.

“Our relationship goes back over 35 years,” Knott said. “Seeing what Franco and his family have built is truly incredible. The industry is lucky to have people like them — who not only love what they do, but are genuinely good people. It’s an honor to be doing something like this together at this point in our careers”

The new Johnnie-O shop will feature the full men’s apparel line, including sport coats, polos, sweaters, outerwear, casual shirts, performance pants, and footwear.
