Former Major League Baseball star Jackie Bradley, Jr. helped officials from Bank of America and Youth on Course launch the 2026 edition of "Golf with Us," a program that offers children ages 6 to 18 tee times for $5 or less at golf courses nationwide.

Through the partnership, local children and teens have access to free one-year memberships in the program and access to tee times at thousands of courses in the U.S.

Bradley visited Belmont Golf Course in Lakeside May 11 as part of a kickoff event featuring 50 youngsters between the ages of 8 and 12, as well as representatives from Fit4Kids, Richmond City Public Schools and Peter Paul Development Center, as well as First Tee Greater Richmond.

“Coming home to Richmond and partnering with Bank of America again for its 'Golf with Us' clinics is special,” said Bradley, a Prince George County native who played collegiately at South Carolina and later starred for (and won a World Series title with) the Boston Red Sox. “Having found success through sport as a child, I deeply understand its impact; golf, specifically, teaches incredible focus and discipline that builds character. I'm excited to bring this game and its valuable life lessons to the next generation here in my hometown.”

Golf with Us is free and open to the first 150,000 new participants who enroll before June 15. Returning Golf with Us participants can renew their annual membership with an exclusive 20% discount offer, courtesy of Bank of America. In its inaugural year, Bank of America’s Golf with Us drew nearly 100,000 youth participants from every state, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, with members logging more than 100,000 rounds of golf nationwide. Of those members, more than 22,000 were girls including many first-time golfers. This year, the Bank hopes to enroll 150,000 kids in Golf with Us.

“Teaming up with Youth on Course is a privilege for not only my Bank of America team, but also all of the children able to participate from the Richmond Region,” said Victor Branch, president of Bank of America Richmond. “Offering this inclusive and accessible opportunity for Richmond’s children is an honor to be a part of.”

“Our partnership with Bank of America has been a gamechanger for Youth on Course, accelerating our mission and scaling our impact in communities across the country,” said Adam Heieck, chief executive officer of Youth on Course. “As Youth on Course proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary, Bank of America’s support has not only inspired tens of thousands of new young golfers, but also expanded our network by adding over 100 municipal course locations and counting, ensuring that kids have safe, affordable places to play in their communities.”
