Driver crashes into Henrico middle school after suffering medical emergency

A driver suffered an apparent medical emergency and crashed into Fairfield Middle School in Henrico County Thursday morning, according to school officials and police.
Henrico Police said the driver went off the road at Cedar Fork and Nine Mile Road and hit several pieces of school property before the vehicle came to rest against the building.
The driver was taken to an area hospital. An update on his condition is not available at this time.
No students or staff were injured in the crash.
