Culver's restaurant coming to Henrico
A popular Midwest restaurant chain has selected Henrico County as the site of its first Metro Richmond location.
Culver's is planning to open at 4306 South Laburnum Avenue, across from White Oak Village. The existing building at the site will be demolished and a new one will be built to the company's traditional standards, according to officials.
S & L Properties Richmond LLC recently purchased the existing 5,002-square-foot retail building from 8th & N Condos, LLC for $1.57 million. Alex T. Wotring and Bruce Bugger of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the purchaser.
Culver's was founded in Wisconsin in 1984 and has since grown to more than 1,000 locations in 26 states primarily in the Midwest, South and Southwest. It's known for its ButterBurger and frozen custard, among other favorites. Its menu includes burgers, chicken, seafood salad and sandwich options, as well as sides and dessert options.
Culver's does not currently operate a restaurant in Virginia.
