Comcast opens new Xfinity store in Eastern Henrico

Comcast has opened a new Xfinity retail location in Eastern Henrico, at 4420 South Laburnum Avenue, Suite 204, in the Laburnum Park Shopping Center.

The company marked the opening with a public celebration Feb. 20 featuring a ribbon-cutting prize giveaways for attendees.

Customers can explore broadband, mobile and home technology offerings through interactive displays at the store.

“We’re thrilled to see Comcast open a new Xfinity Store in Henrico’s East End, making it even more convenient for Greater Richmond residents to experience the latest innovations in broadband, mobile technology, and more,” said Henrico County Varina District Supervisor Tyrone Nelson in a statement.

Company officials said the new location reflects continued investment in the Richmond market.

“We’re excited to welcome our Richmond neighbors to the new Xfinity Store,” said Ray Roundtree, senior vice president of Comcast’s Beltway Region. “This new store reflects our ongoing investment in the Richmond community and our commitment to keeping people connected to what matters most.”

In addition to learning about the company's residential offerings, customers will be able to meet with Comcast Business representatives for help evaluating connectivity, cybersecurity and managed service options.

The new store joins several other Xfinity retail locations in the Richmond region, including stores on West Broad Street in Henrico, Arthur Ashe Boulevard in Richmond, Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield and Temple Avenue in Colonial Heights.

The Laburnum Park store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
