Libbie Mill—Midtown in Henrico’s Near West End has added two new tenants: RVA Bakehouse, which will move into a 2,096-square-foot spot in the Penstock Quarter building at 5001 Libbie Mill East Boulevard, Suite 130; and investment firm D.A. Davidson, which will occupy nearly 11,000 square feet of space in the Emmer Row building at 4901 Libbie Mill East Boulevard, Suite 210. Founded in 2023, RVA Bakehouse is the creation of owner and pastry chef Kim Buehler. With more than 20 years of experience, she has developed a reputation for crafting sourdough, specialty breads and pastries. Work on the new RVA Bakehouse space is expected to begin soon. D.A. Davidson took possession of its space in early April and has already welcomed its first employees, with tenant improvements underway. Founded in 1935, the firm has grown from a small brokerage into a diversified financial services provider, offering investment solutions to individuals, corporations, and institutions nationwide.


Lightbridge Academy recently opened its newest childcare location at 4916 Dominion Boulevard in Glen Allen. The company has more than 150 childcare centers nationally, each offering early childhood education programs for children ages six weeks to pre-kindergarten. Glen Allen franchisees Shawn and Mandy Dhingra hosted a grand opening event May 3 to showcase their new space to the community. The center offers accredited programs, a proprietary curriculum, and technology that includes its ParentView Internet Monitoring and the Lightbridge Journey App, which are designed to enhance transparency.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced the following lease transactions in Henrico County: DBG Fitness, LLC – renewed its lease of 7,066 SF of industrial space at Gaskins Centre, Building 1, 3801-3827 Gaskins Road (Evan Magrill represented the landlord); Ivybrook Academy – leased 6,359 SF of retail space at Gleneagles Shopping Center, 10426 Ridgefield Parkway (David Crawford and Reilly Marchant represented the landlord).
