ID Logistics Warehousing, LLC, a supply chain management company, will locate in a new 582,000-square-foot distribution facility in Eastern Henrico – an $83 million investment that's expected to create about 1,000 new jobs. The company will operate out of developer Ashley Capital’s recently completed I-895 Logistics Center building at 7011 South Laburnum Avenue, where it intends to manage regulated inventory and fulfillment processes for retail and direct-to-consumer household products like cleaning and beauty items. The Board of Directors of The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen has appointed Janet Starke to serve as the organization’s next president and CEO, following the planned retirement of current leader K Alferio in January. Starke, an arts professional with decades of experience in nonprofit management, community engagement and cultural programming, will lead the 50,300-square-foot center into its next chapter of growth and innovation. She has spent more than a quarter-century in arts and arts education and has extensive experience in executive management, strategic planning, government relations and grant-making. Starke is the owner and principal of J Starke Consulting LLC and has served as executive director of the Performing Arts Venues Alliance, a nonprofit focused on positioning the performing arts venues industry as an economic and civic necessity. The Ramyun Zip, a make-your-own ramen bar, opened earlier this year at 11573 West Broad Street in Short Pump, Axios Richmond recently reported. The restaurant offers more than 100 different flavors of ramen, as well as Korean wings and ice cream, fried shrimp, chicken bites and dumplings. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
