Noodles & Company has permanently closed its Innsbrook location at 4101 Dominion Boulevard in Glen Allen. Signage has been removed from the building, and a sign on the door noted the closure, which the restaurant's website later confirmed. It was one of two Noodles & Company Henrico locations; the other one, at 1601 Willow Lawn Drive in the Near West End, remains in operation. The company also has local locations in Mechanicsville and Midlothian.


Andrew Elsbury, the local franchisee of Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, last month opened H&S School of Massage at 2727 Enterprise Parkway in Henrico, Richmond BizSense recently reported. The new massage school offers a six-month training program for future massage therapists. Students are required to train for 500 hours, including 300 hours of classroom instruction and 200 hours of hands-on learning. Elsbury told BizSense that his plan is to provide jobs at his various Hand & Stone locations to students, though that isn’t a requirement to complete the program.


The president of Puritan Cleaners has retired, WWBT 12 recently reported. Gary Glover had been in the role since 1984 when he took over the business from his father. Puritan operates seven locations throughout Henrico County.


Shawarma Bistro recently relocated to 1511 North Parham Road in western Henrico. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Monday and Wednesday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Visit shawarmabistrorva.com for details.
