Henrico-based Gumenick Properties recently announced a new restaurant concept coming to 4900 Libbie Mill East Boulevard in Libbie Mill—Midtown. Eric Hess and Marianne Trak Hess, owners of Lola’s Farmhouse Bistro, will open OPA! Social in the mixed-use community later this year. Florida-based charcuterie chain Graze Craze is now open in the Gayton Crossing Shopping Center, Axios Richmond recently reported. Graze Craze offers curated meat and cheese plates in various sizes, with options running from $9 to $210. The location at 1318 Gaskins Road is the chain’s first Richmond location. Graze Craze is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Dog treat maker Best Bully Sticks is closing its eastern Henrico facility, Richmond BizSense recently reported. The shutdown will result in the loss of 94 local jobs. Central Garden & Pet, Best Bully Sticks’ California-based parent company, says they are consolidating operations to an existing facility in New Jersey due to increased competition in the dog treat industry.
