BRIDGE Initiative to host first support group meeting April 3 in Henrico for children of divorcees

The BRIDGE Initiative, a peer-led family support group founded by local students Arjun Anand and Tristan Litzenburg, will host its first meeting Friday, April 3 at Libbie Mill Library at 2:30 p.m.

Bridge aims to help students build resilience in different family environments. As students with divorced parents themselves, the two said they understand firsthand the challenges of growing up in nontraditional families, and they created BRIDGE to provide a welcoming space where children and teens can share their experiences and support one another.
