Ahead of storm, Henrico Schools offering shelf-stable meals Jan. 23 at 2 sites

Ahead of the anticipated winter storm that's expected to create havoc in Henrico County and Virginia, Henrico County Public Schools officials will distribute shelf-stable meals at two locations in the county Friday, Jan. 23, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or until supplies run out.

The meals will be available for pick-up at:

• Brookland Middle School, 9200 Lydell Drive, Henrico;

• The Oak Avenue Complex, 15 South Oak Avenue, Highland Springs.

The school system will not have any remote learning days next week, even if schools are closed through Friday, since there is enough banked instructional time to make up for any days missed next week.
