Live music is returning to Innsbrook this week.
The inaugural 'Tribute Thursdays' concert series at the SERVPRO After Hours Concerts at The Innsbrook Pavilion in Glen Allen will kick off with Face 2 Face - Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel June 5.
The series will run through September and will feature bands recreating the music of some of the most popular acts of the past 50 years, from Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac to Jimmy Buffet, Tom Petty, Taylor Swift and others.
“We’re looking forward to bringing live music back to Innsbrook this season,” said Matthew Creeger, managing partner for series organizer EventMakers-USA. “This new series offers fans a chance to listen to the music they know and love at affordable ticket prices. Our goal is to provide great live entertainment and an overall good time for music lovers of all kinds.”
To mark the return of live music to Innsbrook, a special drone light show will be held June 5 as part of the season's kick off concert with Face 2 Face. Produced by Airloom Drone Shows, the 12-minute program will take place during the last set break of the concert and consist of 100 drones creating coordinated animations in the night sky including shapes, logos, and scenes choreographed to music inspired by Billy Joel and Elton John.
