Henrico Police are investigating after a pregnant woman was shot in her home in Highland Springs Jan. 28. The shooting happened in the 100 block of North Cedar Avenue just before midnight. Supervisors approve contracts for new sidewalks, trail and road improvement

Henrico’s Board of Supervisors Tuesday night approved construction contracts for three Far West End projects. The board authorized a $627,000 contract for the construction of 1.4 miles of sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps along the southside of Nuckols Road and Pouncey Tract Road.
