Virginia’s unemployment rate drops to 2.8 percent


Virginia continues to have one of the nation’s lowest unemployment rates, state and federal officials said Friday. The commonwealth’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped from 2.9 percent in July to 2.8 percent in August.
