Henrico native Megan Love, member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team, was one of nine Warhawks to be recognized as Scholastic All-America by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women. Love maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA during the 2015-16 academic year. She was named UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes and NCGA Academic All-Americans. Love competed on the uneven parallel bars, balance beam and floor exercise for the Warhawks in 2016. She is majoring in elementary education.


Jessica Macht, of Henrico, graduated cum laude this spring from Radford University. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with minors in Mathematics and Information Technology. Macht is a graduate of Godwin High School.


Vidya Sagar Saranala, of Henrico, graduated May 20 from Fairfield University in Connecticut.


The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Richmond Chapter recently elected its 2016-2017 Board leadership. Officers are: President – Katie Hamann, Door to Door Solutions; and Vice President – Selena Sanderson, Growth by Design, LLC. In addition, the Greater Richmond Chapter appointed two individuals to a two-year term on its Board. These individuals are: Lynn Seward, community advocate, and Lisette Carbajal, Office of Governor Terence R. McAuliffe.


The Central Virginia Association of Health Underwriters (CVAHU) recently announced its 2016-17 Board. Ashley Corr, of Henrico, was appointed treasurer. Corr works at Myriad Financial Services of Virginia, LLC. Chris Renkar, of Glen Allen, was named a director at large. Renkar works at Independent Benefits LLC. CVAHU represents licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals in Richmond and surrounding areas who service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as individuals.
