Brianna Dillard and Heather Shaffer, of Glen Allen, graduated May 18 from Marymount University in Arlington, Va. Dillard received a MA in forensic psychology. Shaffer received a BA in liberal studies.

Safiya Lateefah Fredrich, of Highland Springs, graduated from Fort Hays State University in May. Fredrich received a master of liberal studies with an emphasis in criminal justice.

John Hilker, of Glen Allen, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a minimum 3.4 grade point average. Hilker is a mechanical engineering major.

Kiana Brown, of Henrico, was named to the honor’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. To be eligible for the honor’s list, students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average.

Charlotte Peyton Lee Gomer, of Henrico, graduated May 17 from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Gomer graduated with a major in history and a minor in art history. She received the Marimac Scholarship for Fine Arts and the Allison Knobel Sitton Endowed Scholarship. Gomer studied abroad with the Arcadia College of Global Studies Program in Italy.

The Western Henrico Rotary Club installed new officers June 30: Stuart P. Myers – president; Lee Muckey – president-elect; John Strotmeyer – vice-president; Johnny Alga – secretary; Doug Westmoreland – treasurer; and Bill Sossong – sergeant-at-arms. Directors include Immediate Past President (2013-14) Adam Cherry, Michael Binns, Jim Brooks, Ryan Davis, Bob Glasser, Clint Ray, Ken Strickler, Darren Waggoner and Doug Westmoreland.
