Obituary – Jonathan “Bryan” Lawler

Jonathan "Bryan" Lawler, age 37, of Richmond, affectionately known as "Goob", passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Robert P. and Karen Nanney Lawler; his brother, Jay and sisters, Marie and Michelle; his grandparents, Harry J. and Edith A. Nanney; aunts, Caroline Lawler, Beverly Bowlus (Craig, deceased), and Ellen Espinoza-Hale (Marlow); uncle, Stephen Nanney; three cousins, Katie Bowlus, Emily Bowlus-Peck, and Nicolas Hale; and goddaughter, Gretchen Freeman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, R. Palmer and Karla Lawler. Bryan was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved going to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. He worked for SunTrust Bank for over 15 years. He was a true friend, generous and courageous! He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Bryan's life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 30 at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., N. Chesterfield, Va. 23224.
