Obituary – Garnett T. Williams, Jr.

Garnett Taylor Williams, Jr., 79, of Highland Springs, died March 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Peggy Marlowe Williams. Surviving are a son, Daniel Ray Williams and wife, Angie; a daughter, Vicki W. Funai and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Michael, Matthew, Cole and Taylor; great-grandsons, Daniel III and Devin. Mr. Williams was a known fixture for 60 years in Highland Springs with his auto detailing business. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today), at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
