Obituary – Ethel Kaufelt

Ethel Inge Kaufelt, 87, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Kaufelt Jr.; and is survived by three children, Susan K. Johnson, Cindy A. Kaufelt and Christopher S. Kaufelt (Ashley); five grandchildren, Jeff Buchanan (Cindy), Mark Johnson (Shannon), Tyler Johnson, Lauren Kaufelt and Christopher Kaufelt Jr.; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ethel was a long-time active member of Village Presbyterian Church and was a participant and supporter of the Christmas Mother program. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Village Presbyterian Church, 110 N. Laburnum Ave Richmond, Va. 23223.

The Richmond Home Show returns Oct. 13-15 to the Richmond Raceway Complex. More than 250 vendors representing every aspect of home improvement – including remodeling, kitchen and bath, décor, flooring, landscaping and more – will be available. The Main Stage will feature presentations by national and local experts and the Taste of Virginia marketplace and Beer Garden will offer samples.
