Top Teachers Nomination Form

We’ve all had them – teachers who inspired us, challenged us, looked out for us and helped us succeed. In May, the Henrico Citizen will publish its sixth annual "Henrico's Top Teachers" issue, profiling some of the top teachers in Henrico County at the preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school levels.

We encourage you to nominate one, or several, of the current teachers who have have made a difference in your life, or in the lives of your children, friends, brothers or sisters. Public and private school teachers are eligible to be nominated. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15, 2016.

The Henrico County Drug Court will sponsor an inaugural 5k run/walk event to support the continued recovery of its participants and graduates. The 5k will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Deep Run Park, 9900 Ridgefield Pkwy., and will include face painting, music, a bounce house, silent auction and other family fun. The race will start at 9 a.m. The cost to participate is $25, or $15 using the online promotion code HENRICO, plus processing fees. The event will be part of a national recognition of September as Recovery Month. Proceeds will benefit Henrico Drug Court activities that promote the ongoing recovery of individuals who have graduated from the program.
