Top Teachers Nomination Form

We’ve all had them – teachers who inspired us, challenged us, looked out for us and helped us succeed. In May, the Henrico Citizen will publish its sixth annual "Henrico's Top Teachers" issue, profiling some of the top teachers in Henrico County at the preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school levels.

We encourage you to nominate one, or several, of the current teachers who have have made a difference in your life, or in the lives of your children, friends, brothers or sisters. Public and private school teachers are eligible to be nominated. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15, 2016.

The Henrico NAACP will present its 2017 Freedom Fund Banquet and Awards Ceremony from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Rd. The keynote speaker will be Secretary of Education Dr. Dietra Trent who will focus on “The Role of Education.” There also will be entertainment by the Henrico High School Center for the Arts and additional guests including state and local officials and community leaders.
