Vision Airlines announces $29 fares to Grand Bahama Island
Vision Airlines announced today that it is offering $29 fares each-way (plus taxes & fees) to Grand Bahama Island from Richmond. The discounted fares are limited, not available on all flights and can only be booked through the company's website, http://www.visionairlines.com or by calling 1-877-FLY-A-JET (1-877-359-2538). The discount expires Nov. 2; travel must be completed by 11:59 p.m. EST on Dec. 19, 2011.
Flights from Richmond start Nov. 4. Flights will depart RIC on Mondays and Fridays at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at Grand Bahama Island International Airport at 3:45 p.m. Return flights will depart Grand Bahama Island Mondays and Fridays at 10:25 a.m. and arrive at RIC at 12:35 p.m.

Short Pump brewery offers more than just beer
The restaurant and craft brewery opened in early June and features 10 beers made by female brewmaster Becky Hammond (pictured). This is the restaurant’s second location in Virginia; the first is in Arlington. Behind glass walls, customers watched the beer brewing in massive steel barrels. For our up-and-coming beer region, it makes sense that Short Pump would jump on board.
As I walked up to the back of the mall near the comedy club, I was taken aback by what I saw: at the top of the stairs was an overflowing restaurant with outdoor seating, large umbrellas and dangling outdoor lights. > Read more.
