Tucker Marching Tigers to play at Chick-fil-A Bowl

The Tucker High School Marching Tigers will perform several times later this month in Atlanta as part of the festivities leading up to the Chick-fil-a Bowl, as well as during the game itself. The band will perform their fall halftime show, a concert performance, a jazz performance, a parade performance in the Chick-fil-A Bowl parade and end with a massed-band performance of all participating high school groups for the Chick-fil-A Bowl halftime show, which will feature approximately 700 high school students from throughout the United States.

“Our students are extremely proud to be a part of the long-standing tradition of the Chick-fil-A Bowl,” said the Marching Tigers' Director Frank Sampson. "To perform at a venue like the Georgia Dome is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any high school musician. As their director, I am personally very excited to be able to share this outstanding performance opportunity with the students of Tucker High School.”

Performances will take place from Dec. 28-Jan. 1. The Chick-fil-A Bowl, pitting Auburn against Virginia, will be played at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 31 and aired nationally on ESPN.
