Tucker HS planning 50th anniversary events

J.R. Tucker High School will celebrate its 50th anniversary with events Oct. 5 and 6 and is seeking sponsors to assist. The events, hosted by the school's PTSA, will be open to anyone who has a connection to the school.

Activities will include a tailgate before the Tucker football game against Hermitage Oct. 5, featuring entertainment, as well as a golf tournament the following day at The Hollows Golf Club, followed by a gala celebration that evening

Donations and other contributions from the community will be used to support the celebration, with any extra funds being donated to the school for the purchase of needed items and to the PTSA's after-prom party and scholarship fund.

Donations may be made monetarily or in gift cards, or businesses may choose to donate products to be used in raffles and silent auctions. Donations must be received by Sept. 15.

Three sponsorship levels are available – $50, $250 and $500 – with varying benefits and exposure available to participants at each level.

For details about attending the events or donating, visit http://www.jrtuckerptsa.com or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
