‘Top Teacher’ Stein to appear on Rachael Ray Show
Ryan Stein, a teacher at Pinchbeck Elementary School and one of the Henrico Citizen's Top Teachers for 2011, will appear on the Rachael Ray show Oct. 6 after winning one of five grand prizes in the nationwide "Back to School in Style Makeover."
The show will air locally at 2 p.m. on NBC-12.
The contest, a partnership between Rachael Ray and the Jones Apparel group, awarded grand prizes that include a wardrobe from Jones New York and Macy's, a makeover that will be revealed on the Rachael Ray Show, school supplies from Office Max and Adopt-a-Classroom, and cash for the school.
Stein – who was nominated for the award by a friend – flew to New York Sept. 18 to tape the show.
