Taking the (pre) plunge

Todd Williams takes the plunge face-first.
Family, friends, staff and vendors at Free Agents Marketing gathered Feb. 2 for a "pre-plunge" party to prepare for this weekend's Polar Plunge Winter Festival in Virginia Beach. A dozen or more "Freeze Agents" practiced for this Saturday's plunge by jumping into baby pools of icy water in the Free Agents Marketing parking lot, located off West Broad St. near Innsbrook.

The pre-plunge party, like the plunge itself, raised funds for Special Olympics Virginia, a Free Agents client. More than 10,000 people are expected at the festival to watch participants plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. For information about the plunge and how to donate, visit http://www.firstgiving.com/process/teamarea/default.aspdid=41733&teamid=166523.
