Swimmers make a splash with hunger relief

This summer’s inaugural ‘Dunk Hunger’ food-and-funds drive, sponsored by Richmond Family Magazine and the Virginia Swim Shop, has begun and will run through July 31. The competition benefits the Central Virginia Food Bank.

The swim team or pool club that collects the largest overall donation by July 31 will enjoy a free celebratory party poolside in August. A $10 donation will provide 50 meals.

Swim related organizations can register at http://www.feedmore.org/dunkhunger.
