Suspects sought in Short Pump robbery

On Feb. 9, 2013 at about 10:40 p.m., two 16 year old males were walking across a parking lot in the 11650 block of West Broad Street when they were approached by two suspects, a black female and a black male. The suspects displayed a handgun and demanded items from the victims. Both victims gave the suspects various personal items to include cash. The suspects were last seen walking on foot.

Shortly before the robbery, the suspects were seen in a convenience store in the area. The male suspect (pictured) was wearing a green and yellow baseball cap.

The suspects are:

• a black male, 19 to 23 years old, 5-foot-seven to 5-foot-9, 150-165 pounds, wearing an olive green jacket, blue pants and a green and yellow ball cap;

• a black female, 18 to 21 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7, 120-135 pounds, wearing a black and gray jacket, blue jeans, and a black and gray hat.

Henrico County Police is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the subjects responsible for this crime. Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Reynolds CC to host sculptor Paul DiPasquale

Reynolds Community College will host Richmond sculptor Paul DiPasquale Sept. 28 as he shares his presentation “Art Talk, Why Art Matters” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Conference Center Gallery of the Workforce Development and Conference Center on the Parham Road Campus, located at 1651 E. Free children’s clothing for those in need

The Children's Clothing Closet at Highland Springs United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 30 to provide free new or nearly new children's clothing for families in need, prior to the start of the school year. Theme for this year’s Dominion GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter announced

The theme for the annual Dominion GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Lakeside has been announced.

This year's event, which opens Nov. 25 and will continue through Jan. 9, will explore "Living Color" and show how the world's kaleidoscope of colors speaks to people, impacts nature and influences culture, according to Garden officials.
