Regency Square shooter still at large

A surveillance image of the shooter
A man who fired at least one shot in the Regency Square mall food court in western Henrico County this afternoon is still at large, and police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.

He is described as a black male about 6 foot 2 in height, with dreadlocks and wearing a red hoodie.

The shot apparently did not strike anyone directly but may have injured a bystander when it ricocheted. At least one other individual may have been injured while trying to evacuate the mall, NBC12 reported.

Anyone with information about the suspect or his whereabouts should contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
