Portion of Mill Road to be closed for gas line work

The Henrico County Department of Public Works will close a portion of Mill Road just west of Old Washington Highway beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 while a contractor bores a gas line under the railroad tracks. The road is expected to reopen in the afternoon on Friday, March 30.
Traffic will be detoured from Mill by way of Old Washington and Mountain Road. Signs will be posted; motorists should expect delays. Henrico police will allow school buses and emergency vehicles to pass but only between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. while the work is underway. For more information, call Michael A.
