Plaza Azteca buys former Hill City Chop House facility

Plaza Azteca Short Pump Inc. purchased the 8,289-square-foot retail building at 10099 Brook Road from Chickahominy Group LLC for $1.5 million and has plans to open its third Henrico restaurant at the site. Plaza Azteca, based in Virginia Beach, operates 28 restaurants in Virginia, North Carolina, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio. Its two existing locations in Henrico are at 6623 West Broad Street near Glenside Drive and 12020 West Broad Street in Short Pump. Carl Blackwell of Commonwealth Commercial Partners Inc. represented the seller, while Brian Glass and Yasmine Hamad of Grubb & Ellis|Harrison & Bates represented the buyer. |
