Police seeking driver of tractor trailer
 At 11:28 a.m., officers responded to an accident at East Williamsburg Road and Technology Boulevard, in which the tractor trailer and a motorcycle were travelling eastbound on Williamsburg Road when the tractor trailer changed lanes, forcing the motorcycle off the road. The motorcycle, driven by an off-duty Henrico police officer, crashed in the grass median in the middle of East Williamsburg Road near Technology Boulevard. The 18-wheel tractor trailer left the scene of the accident. It is described as a logging truck with a faded red cab and a logging trailer containing a full load of logs. The truck was last seen headed east bound on Williamsburg Road. The off-duty officer, a 33-year-old male who was driving his personal motorcycle, was transported to VCU Medical Center and is in stable condition. The extent of his injuries are unknown. Henrico Junior 4-H camp registration open

For parents looking to keep their kids outside and away from the video games this summer, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is still accepting registrations for the 2013 Henrico Junior 4-H Camp.
The camp will be held June 17-23, and is open to boys and girls ages 9-13. A total of 10 spaces for boys and 27 spaces for girls remain available, and registration is open until May 24. The cost is $230, which includes lodging, meals, programs, instructional materials and charter bus transportation. > Read more.

Veteran restaurateur set to open in Short Pump
Tran’s Pho 1 Grill will serve Vietnamese fare
Paul Tran, along with his wife Ellen will open up Pho 1 Grill, a Vietnamese restaurant, in June in the Towne Center West Shopping Center.
Tran has been serving up Vietnamese food since the mid-’80s, his first being Que Huong on Rigsby Road. He also owned Mr. Chan’s on Horsepen Road and Saigon Gourmet on Hull Street Road. > Read more.
