New ACAC Fitness Center offering hard-hat tours

Construction of the new ACAC Fitness & Wellness Center at the corner of Old Brick Road and Gathering Place in West Broad Village is underway and the community is invited to attend hard hat tours of the new facility on Saturday, July 7 and Saturday, July 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Stop in at the Express Club & Membership Center at 2225 Old Brick Road (next to 3 Sports) to take a tour.

The new club will encompass almost 62,000 square feet on four levels, including a rooftop pool and sundeck. Other amenities will include locker rooms, two-story child care, three squash courts, two rooftop platform tennis courts, three pools, four group fitness studios and a wide array of the latest strength and cardiovascular equipment.

Popular Short Pump spot offers upscale comfort, flavors
The Wine Loft opened in West Broad Village in January 2010, offering a full bar with wine, beer, spirits and a kitchen with tapas-style snacks. It offers a seasonal patio area along Whittall Way. Its walk-in wine “humidor” in plain view from the bar offers more than 85 wines by the glass ($6-$65) and about 250 by the bottle ($28 and up), with some emphasis on Italian wines.
