Col. Donald B. Kaiserman, of Henrico, has been elected as chairman of the Virginia Joint Leadership Council (JLC). The JLC is recognized as the leading Veterans Council advocating for the military community in the Commonwealth and “Speaks with a Single Voice” for the more than 820,000 veterans living in Virginia. Kaiserman had previously served as the JLC legislative chair and as vice chair. Kaiserman is also president of The Council of 18 Chapters of the Military Officers Association of America, serves on the Virginia Board of Veterans Service (being vetted by Gov. McDonnell), the Virginia War Memorial Board of Directors and the Fort Lee Retiree Council.

Tracie Grady, vice president of member services, recently celebrated 10 years of service with Eisenman & Associates, Inc. Grady started with E&A in August 2002 and was promoted to her current position in the fall of 2011. Prior to her employment with E&A, Grady was the administrator at the Virginia Association of Elementary School Principals for over five years. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor of science in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. E&A is a full-service association management and meeting consulting firm based in Glen Allen.

The University of Richmond’s all-male a cappella group, The Octaves, has been featured on a two-disc album showcasing the best a cappella tracks released by collegiate groups from around the world. The Octaves track, “The Show Goes On,” as performed by Lupe Fiasco, is featured on “Voices Only 2012.” A new “Voices Only” album has been released each fall since 2005 and includes songs recorded, mastered or released during the previous year. Songs are chosen for a variety of reasons, including featured soloists, production excellence, arrangements and more. The 2012 album is available on iTunes.
