To be eligible for the honor’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.75 or higher. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.74.

Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) International has selected Kathy Harkey as CIT Advocate of the Year and Chief Douglas A. Middleton as CIT Police Chief of the Year. Harkey became a certified trainer for CIT and has served as a family member trainer during the 40 hour training since the CIT inception in Henrico. She currently serves as program director for NAMI Central Virginia. Middleton plans to CIT train 100% of Henrico County police officers and the Henrico County Academy recruits. He is also committed to partnering with fire, mental health and the Sheriff’s Department to ensure that all first responders are CIT trained.

Board leadership for Greater Richmond Partnership, Inc. (GRP) has changed effective July 1: G. Slaughter Fitz-Hugh, III, president of CapTech Ventures, Inc., has been elected vice chair. The following private sector members will continue their service on the Partnership board: Katherine Busser, senior vice president of Capital One; Robert P. DeLille, CEO at Creative; and T. Justin (Jay) Moore, partner at Hunton & Williams, LLP. The following private sector members will serve as board alternates: Ned W. Massee, vice president of corporate affairs at MeadWestvaco Corporation; Doug Roth, senior vice president and area executive at BB&T; Tracy Kemp Stallings, COO at HCA CJW Medical Center; and Kim Scheeler, president of Greater Richmond Chamber. Patricia S. O’Bannon, member of the Henrico County Board of Supervisors, will continue as a public sector board member. Virgil Hazelett, Henrico county manager, will continue to serve as a public sector board alternate. William C. Broaddus, partner at McGuireWoods, LLP, will continue to serve as General Counsel for the Partnership. Two Partnership officers, Gregory H.
