Megabus Entering Richmond Market

Megabus will offer three daily departures to Washington, D.C., Hampton, Philadelphia, Raleigh/Durham and Charlotte from its location on Main Street in Richmond, opposite the Amtrak Rail Station. Fees will begin at $1 and rise as the travel date nears. "The overwhelming popularity of megabus.com inspires us to expand our service reach again and from what better city than our Nation’s Capital,” said Dale Moser, president of Coach USA/megabus.com. "As the public continues to search for ways to stretch their dollar, megabus.com will now be able to deliver a greater travel value to the residents of the Richmond area." Megabus.com, a subsidiary of Coach USA, launched in April 2006 and has served more than seven million travelers. To celebrate its service expansion, megabus.com is offering 10,000 free seats for travel Dec. 15 through Jan. 15. The free seats will be available on megabus.com departures to and from the 10 Washington expansion cities. Customers will need to use the promo code ILUVDC when booking their tickets via http://www.megabus.com (subject to availability on select dates, routes). Fan Care offers heat relief to seniors

Qualifying senior citizens can receive free relief from summer heat through the 23rd annual Fan Care program, which provides fans and cooling assistance to seniors 60 and older in need.
