Lakeside businesses will host their bi-annual "Ladies' Night Out" customer appreciation event on Friday, July 22, beginning at 5 p.m.

Shoppers will be able to enjoy visiting a number of unique shops along Lakeside Avenue, each featuring special discounts, promotions or giveaways.



"Ladies' Night Out is a unique opportunity for the Lakeside Avenue businesses to give back and say thank you to their customers who support them all throughout the year," said Lakeside Business Association (LBA) President Tony Turner, who also is the co-owner of vintage-style home and garden store and tea shop Feathernesters on Lakeside Avenue. "It also provides a special evening of shopping when the shops are usually closed, which many of the patrons really appreciate!"

Participating shops include consignment and home decor shops; bookstores; food establishments; and others.

"Our customers mark their calendars for this special evening," said LBA Vice President Betty Lewis Smith, the owner of Embellish, a specialty home decor and gift shop on Lakeside Avenue. "This is our chance to show our appreciation to our customers with a special night of special treats."


Participating businesses include: Chocolate Cravings; Church Mouse Books; Consignment Connection; Eclectic Stuff; Embellish; Ex Libris Books; Feathernesters Tea Room; Keep Good Company; Kids Grow; McAdoos' Vintage Thrift; My Closet - Your Treasures; Pass It On!; Robin's Nest Antiques; Save Recess! Toys and Games; Umami Coffee and Tea; Vintage Glass and Pottery; and Whispers of Time.


The event will occur again next February.
