Kruszewski wins 2 national awards
|
The national awards were issued after Kruszewski’s four first-place entries from the Virginia Press Women (VPW) contest advanced to the NFPW to compete against first-place state winners from across the country. Kruszewski won a second place in the feature story category for her article entitled “Maronite Marathon,” about the annual preparation for the Lebanese Food Festival produced by St. Anthony’s Maronite Catholic Church. In the category of feature articles written specifically for the web, Kruszewski won a third place with her story about a rare Robert E. Lee letter coming home to the Dabbs House Museum, where it was originally written, after almost 100 years. |
