Jewelers raise money for Children’s Hospital
![]() For the third consecutive year, a number of local jewelers have joined together to make a donation to the community. Each participating jeweler donated a piece with a retail value of $1,500 to a raffle, which raised $13,525 for the Children's Hospital Foundation. "Organizing the Jewels for Children raffle has been a wonderful experience for me," said Cheryl Fornash of Cheryl Fornash Jewelers. "Working with the Children's Hospital Junior Board has been delightful, and the jewelers have once again been gracious and extremely generous." In addition to Fornash, participating jewelers included Adolf Jewelers, Carreras Jewelers, Charles Schwarzschild Jewelers, Cowardin Jewelers, Dransfield Jewelers, Fink's Jewelers, Jack Kreuter Jewelers, Peter Alexander Jewelers, Schwarzschild Jewelers, Vera's Fine Jewelers and Victoria Charles Jewellery. This was the first year that the raffle benefitted the Children's Hospital Foundation. In February, the jewelers' raffle raised $13,000 for the Massey Cancer Center at the annual Women in Wellness event. |
