Jenna Bush Hager to host Noah’s Children art auction

Jenna Bush Hagar, author, contributing correspondent for NBC’s Today Show and chair of UNICEF’s Next Generation, will be the keynote speaker for an upcoming charity auction and gala on Saturday, March 24 to benefit Noah’s Children.

Schools across the county have participated in the fundraising event by creating artwork inspired by the theme “Two by Two.” These works reflect ideas of hope, renewal and journey. Elementary schools made arks for table decorations and middle and high schools created pottery, paintings, wall hangings and jewelry. These items will be auctioned off at the benefit, and proceeds will go to the charity.

Noah’s Children serves infants, children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, as well as their families. This holistic program ensures compassionate care at the most difficult time for a family by addressing their physical, emotional, social, spiritual and practical needs, so that they can focus on making sure their child’s remaining time is as rich and meaningful as possible.

The children’s art auction will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Westin Richmond Hotel, 6631 W. Broad St. There will also be live music, wine pairings and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $125 per person. For details, visit http://www.fortyoneevent.org.
