Henrico schools to host golf tournaments

Three Henrico schools are planning golf tournaments later this spring to raise money for their athletic teams.
Hungary Creek Middle School will host its second annual Cougar Classic Golf Tournament beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at The Hollows Golf Club, 14501 Greenwood Church Road in Montpelier. Proceeds from the tournament will be used primarily to replace uniforms, maintain equipment and secure officials. The Varina High School Athletics Booster Club will host its first golf tournament beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Brookwoods Golf Club, 7325 Club Drive in Quinton. Fan Care offers heat relief to seniors

Qualifying senior citizens can receive free relief from summer heat through the 23rd annual Fan Care program, which provides fans and cooling assistance to seniors 60 and older in need.
