Henrico libraries offer downloadable materials
|
Henrico County Public Library has expanded its digital content services with eBooks and eAudiobooks available as free downloads to a computer or mobile device from the library’s website through OverDrive.
The new service is free for Henrico County Public Library members with a valid library card. Members can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://www.henricolibrary.org. Titles are available immediately or may be transferred to a variety of mobile devices including iPod, iPhone, iPad, Android, Sony Reader, Nook, Blackberry and many others. Amazon’s Kindle will be available soon. Some audio titles also can be burned to a CD to listen to on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, so that customers will not incur any late fees. To get started downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks, visit http://www.henricolibrary.org. Visit a library to sign up for a free library card. |
