DMV sets up mobile office in Henrico
|
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles established a DMV 2 Go mobile customer service center in Henrico today to serve customers.
Two DMV locations in Henrico – the centers at 9237 Quioccasin Road and 5517 South Laburnum Avenue – are closed today because of the effects of Hurricane Irene. A DMV 2 Go mobile customer service center is parked in front of the North Henrico DMV office at 9015 Brook Road. Services will be provided until 5 p.m. today. The mobile office is handicapped-accessible and provides all DMV transactions including applying for and renewing driver's licenses and ID cards, ordering disabled parking placards or plates, and getting vehicle titles, license plates and decals. Virginians can stop in to update their addresses on their DMV records, their voter registration addresses and organ donor status. To check on the status of DMV locations, visit http://www.dmvNOW.com for updates before visiting a DMV office or call 497-7100 for more information. |
