Business Volunteers Sought for High School Mock Interview Program

The Henrico Business Council is seeking business volunteers for the 2011 Henrico Mock Interview Program, which allows high school students the chance to "interview" for jobs and receive advice from professionals in various fields.
The interviews will be conducted at J.R. Tucker High School on Jan. 21 and Varina High School on March 10. Both events will include morning and afternoon sessions. The mock interview program was selected this year as the Region I winner of the 2010 Creating Excellence Business and Industry Partnership Award. The award is made annually by the Virginia Department of Education to recognize exemplary projects that promote excellence in Career and Technical Education. The program was also recognized this year as a National Association of Counties 2010 Achievement Award Winner. |
